Since 1982 Full Channel has provided Rhode Island’s East Bay with leading-edge broadband services. Today the company remains the only local family-owned broadband communications provider in Rhode Island. IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER: Expectations include administering of customer VoIP network, including troubleshooting and maintenance of IP network as well as performing day-to-day maintenance of office LAN, Windows/Mac systems and related networks including implementing security standards, backup/recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, scripting, monitoring, and documenting. Must be a team player and able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline and 4 years Systems Administration experience OR a high school diploma and 8 years Systems Administration experience is required. Experience implementing security standards (STIG’s and patches), backup/recovery, performance tuning, trouble shooting, scripting, monitoring, and documenting. CABLE TV / BROADBAND INSTALLER: Immediate opening for full time cable installer to provide video, voice, and data services to residential and commercial subscribers. Must be competent in basic troubleshooting and repair techniques for video, voice, and data services. Previous experience is required. CABLE TV / BROADBAND SYSTEM TECHNICIAN: Immediate opening for full time system technician who has a strong working knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing problems associated with HFC cable plant, transporting analog and digital signals. Also the installation, troubleshooting and repair of all services on customer premises. The successful applicant should be familiar with both forward and reverse plant. Applicant should be familiar with sweep, balancing and ingress mitigation. Experience as an install/service technician necessary. DISPATCHER: Part time position, flexible hours including weekends. Support technicians in the field via two-way radio. Speak with customers, troubleshoot systems, and interact with billing and provisioning support systems. Some sales and troubleshooting required. Excellent commission opportunities. Must be able to multitask, keyboard and learn new software programs. Experience with Excel and Word necessary. Excellent customer service a priority. Prior experience helpful.
